Thanks Matt where ever we go I hunt down doors/door furniture and windows, theres some amazing ones, makes you wonder who/whos lives/lived there

Nice. Some cracking detail in the doors, very intricate and they looked like they seen some action.

Hard to choose a favourite, but I'll opt for #3, really liking this one...has loads of character.

Cheers.

Thanks Andy, that door intrigued me, the left door seems to have had more use and abuse than the right door, its even lost the garland,

something a bit different.... all seem to be leaning a bit to the left though or maybe just distortion...

Really like these, but as said, some could do with a little bit of straightening

If you have Lightroom then there is a really easy tool to allow you to straighten images

It's all very well for you door lovers, but how about us arch lovers?
You've chopped off their heads!!!!!
4 is a bit unusual with stone (or concrete?) kickers and keystone with everything else brickwork, it's a mighty fine looking door too

Ah lovely :) #4 for me Dave

Yep they all suffer slightly with distortion but that doesn't distract for me :)

Nicely seen !!

'Door Porn' indeed :D

a great set of pictures and subjects all could do with a coat of paint .

i bet a paint job would cost as much to make when new

no 5 for me

Great series. Gotta love big old doors :)

Hey! I'm a Doors fan...oh wait!

Great set! I've been to Krakow myself and I can see why you have opted for this 'subject'.

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but did you visit Auschwitz?

great set and unusual but i like them - there's loads of subjects to photograph in krakow - cant wait to visit again :)

Luv-em, thanks for posting.

It's #'s 2 & 3 for me, brings back fond memories.

They typify the 'Polish' doorway from 15 years ago when we first visited.

My son married a Polish girl and lives out there, not in Krakow, and we have two polish Grandsons.

Love those doors, right up my street ;)
Would make great locations for a model shoot Dave (y)

Great set, Dave. All images are spot on, and yes, I'm going to steal your idea!.

A very good set of shots. The doors in European cities and in particular in eastern Europe ar just so grand. Imagine the tales they could tell if only they could speak! I like the all but No.3 is my favourite

Lovely travelogue set from a single and distinct perspective.

Thanks very much Adrian (y)

I bet they weigh a ton as well

I like these, as everyone says, they have loads of character. bes ones for me are#1 & #3

Great set of photos, I particularly like the last one; very punchy. I have been to Krakow and indeed souther Poland several times where my wife comes from and there`s some of the best selection of old factories, building and doors in Europe. :)
