Snail on moss

For some reason I got quite a good DOF today with the Raynox 250, but what to focus on is an ongoing problem for me with snails.

That's what I mean Graham, the eyes of a snail are that far away from the body I never know what to focus on for the best shot. I suppose both is the answer but at the moment that eludes me I'm afraid.

Never an easy subject deciding which eye to focus on.

Nice shot. I find it hard to photograph snail. Never too sure where to focus on. The eyes at the end of the antennae, or the body?
