First time at the zoo with my 100-400mm. The weight took some getting used to. I was using a monopod, which helped with keeping shots steady, but meant that framing shots was more difficult, as I was having to adjust the monopod length, or switching to free hand with a pendulum!

These are all SOOC, but I would like to play around with the cropping at least I think, as capturing everything in the shot was something I struggled with.

As always, all constructive feedback welcome, and any advice on post processing also really appreciated. I am using Rawtherapee, as all shots are done in RAW.

I recommend to first set DRL and WB, as first steps, so to
pull out the maximum from the recorded data.

After that, you may tweaked to your liking to reflect the wea-
ther or anything else.

Here, I only did what is in the 1st paragraph…

You got a darn cool file there, Tom!

My own personal preference would be to zoom in if possible to concentrate on just head shots of the cats to try and eliminate any of the fences in the background, I have toyed with the idea of visiting YWP for a while so if and when I pay a visit that is what I'd be concentrating on.
