some golden light

After losing my love of photograpy the missus pushed me out for an afternoon walk along the local river. Glad i did, the sunset was glorious and i rememered why i love my hobby. This shot i was pleased with, due to the golden light of the setting sun.

Lovely colours, HDR is not overdone.
I like the swan swimming into the picture, although it appears to be blurred, but those fluorescent joggers are an annoyance.
I'd have waited until the bright blue jogger was out of the shot, he's a bit of a distraction and is right in line with the bank marker.

If it were mine I'd remove the jogger and the white bank marker post, which would leave the boats as the point of interest on that side.

I like the light and the colours, but the entire image is a little soft, and there is a slight halo issue around the tops of the trees which really draws the eye.

I like the light and composition, but HDR tone mapping has let the image down.
Natural processing is your best friend in these sort of conditions.
