Some shots from a day in May

The day I took these I was concentrating on the Rannerdale bluebells and these were left until now.

After going to the dentist we went for a bar meal so I stopped to take these.

Later after shooting the blubells I shot this as the moon rose. The wife had been taken home before this.

The 1st and third are appealing in composition and light wise.

Three looks to be on the lean though.

The last is to shadowed and flat

Thanks Steve I tried straightening the third maybe it needs another go
The fourth is at dusk

What filter did you use? #1 for me.

Hi Alf,

I do like the first photo especially in black and white and while I usually leave birds in if they are captured in the photo but I would be tempted to clone the one on the left out.

I also like the last photo but it's difficult to see where the tree ends and the hillside begins as there's no real definition there. Lovely smooth water and moonshine though.
