then go with the 3rd.simple logic,first piccy you have framed in landscape and are now leaning towards cropping to portrait.therefore should have been framed in portrait? Which would give ya more leg less tree. So presumably that makes it weaker,competition wise??

I've never entered a competition but if I did the image I would want to present would be where I framed what I wanted composition wise as near as I could. If I felt a need to crop from landscape to portrait I would hope a judge would see through that?

A wonderful set, all are lovely but 3 is a stunner and also, number 4 is very, very nice too.
