Southwold Pier

Headed to Southwold in the hope there would be a nice sunrise but unfortunately it wasn;t meant to be. I did find a new composition I liked tho so that will be getting a revisit at some point when hopefully the weather will play ball.

I did get a shot I am fairly happy with tho after a bit of a wait.

See, for exactly that reason, the colour wins hands down for me, the muted tones work incredibly well with the subject, especially given the time of year. Just IMO of course

I think I might have preferred to see that horizon just a tad higher in frame, or cropped that way, but [and I am no landscape snapper, so this really is personal preference] so the bright streak of cloud comes in from the top left corner. Generally speaking though, I like it, it's my kind of landscape
