I sometimes use noiseninga but I go back to the days when 400asa film had more grain than this! Usually only really take the trouble if going to print when it is a case of noise-software and history brush to remove smearing over the main subject.

We forget how much easier is is now with the quality achieved with such as my 40D. I would not have has a chance to get the shots i post with film as expense would have restricted multiple exposures to the pro's and the hours spent in a darkroom just to get one half decent print.
