Got some interesting images from the garden, mainly consisting of spiders and Crane Flies/Daddy Longlegs/Jackie Longlegs.

Taken on 600d, neweer tt560 flash, pringles tube, raynox dcr250, 50mm f1.8 shot at F11-F14

This first shot I thought were two crane flies bonking as the action was a bit of thrashing about, but after downloading onto the PC and viewing on a larger screen, imagine my surprise! Spider versus crane fly!

Thanks for popping in!

Wow...... simply wow can you do a 100% crop on the eyes of the last one.... @pjm1 is this the sharpness you are looking for?

That lighting is doing you great have you got a shot of the setup as I wasn't sure a pringle diffuser would work on the 50mm and raynox due to lack of length compared to the length of the flash gun.

107% crop, from an existing JPG so might be a bit cleaner if I cropped it from within camera raw - was hard to see if I was focussing dead on the eyes through the viewfinder, I tend to have both eyes open, I seem to see better - even though one eye is looking through the viewfinder and the other eye isn't. Im just strange. lol

If I had known it was a fight to the death, I would have hung around for the kill shot but I honestly thought it was a pair of crane flies going for it. Next time I see something like that, I'll stick around and see what happens. Cheers Justin

When using a microscope or even a telescope we were advised to keep both eyes open, it was always very difficult.

(y) for #2,just enough web showing and the colours are superb.
