Spitfire over the Isle of Wight

Despite a neck injury I tried (foolishly) to get some slower shutter speed panning shots of a Spitfire. I guess having to rotate from the waste rather than the neck means from now on I need a new technique and approach. Still I did get it in frame as it flew directly over at around 500ft, even if the motion blur was not what I intended, but we live to learn and improve !

Not much wrong with those shots!

FWIW, I always pan handheld and twist at the waist rather than the neck. I try to set myself up as square as possible to the middle of the pan "sweep".
