The camera club I belong to have started to do a project on a local historic ship. The SS Explorer was a Government ship who was involved in some of the early climate change science, fish and oil industry surveys and it is said she once saved a stricken Rainbow Warrior. She was scrapped twice and crash into once. The crash saved her as the insurance money allowed her to be transported back home to Leith.
I enjoyed a lovely tour on what was a recce to see what kit and lighting I will need to photograph the ship. Still managed a few images.
