Critique St Peter's Square - view over Rome from the Copula

Fascinating images & memorable photos. #2 is the better, for its tighter angle of field, IMO. Nice to be able to see the familiar green Tiber.
(BTW I am concerned about there being a 'copula' over The Vatican- or is it just that the architect's name was Freud:p)

I've been thinking this over. Possibly. They're quite tightly spaced, it's mobbed up there and there's a security fella up there too. Maybe worth a try. I'll go back maybe mid/late oct and the blue hours that bit early it might be open.

The other option is to hand hold, shoot a much wider aperture and bump the ISO up
