Sticky plant thing

I saw this in Springfields Gardens at Spalding recently and wondered what it was my plant knowledge being exhausted at dandelions. The fruit are quite sticky. The gardens by the way adjacent to the 'Outlet Centre' are well worth a visit if you're in the area and good value for the £2 parking charge.

It could be from anywhere in the world but possibly an Ivy relative. From the leaves. However ivy does flower and have fruit
