Strangers on location

Hi all,

I was scouting a new location and needed someone to test the light for me - I approached 2 girls to sit for me - to my surprise they said yes!

For me - they look really good.

I'm looking via a laptop screen so---
---- the last two look a little white on the faces, but when I duck, the colours appear
---- the first ones look nice, but when I duck they appear dark.

Overall I'd say its working.

Did you struggle with light? flash or natural?

Oh dear - I'm editing on the lap top - I have the same problem.

It was natural light - aperture priority as I had to grab and run before I overstayed my welcome.

#3 and the second expression in #2 are very good. - the dirty off white wall is off putting, I would be tempted to clean it up and make it white as they appear to have a halo around theirs heads?
Overall nice subjects and good to get those expressions

Thanks - I agree - but honestly walking up to a stranger, plonking them in a location I've never used before is tough. The photos make me smile and restored my faith in people! Sometimes that's more than a great photo! Cheers Mandy

Yes - they were French - I would have loved to work with them for longer, but didn't want to push my luck! At least I've found a new location to play with!

Ooo La La. Even better! I was going to say that they would make for great models for you to shoot in the future.
