That's a competition winner!.. agree with Coyon, mono would work better and I'd make a slightly tighter crop to get rid of the litter bin and to make the diagonal from bottom left up to top right more prominent (if you get my drift)

I like this. Nice clash of subjects. I read it as more poignant than funny, though. Good to see some street photography with an interesting concept.
 
Very well spotted and well taken shot the can of special brew adds the final touch, no doubting why he is prone on the steps ;) The litter bin does detract a little but I think a crop would probably lose part of the statue, maybe a little cloning is in order
 
Typical of the street that you do best, good interaction well caught - it works in colour and I'm sure it would in mono ... just needs a bit of tidying with the verticals & horizontals according to my eye :)
