i have a canon 1000d and wondered if i can get a super macro lens for it? Any advice welcome :thinking:

There is only one super macro lens available and luckily enough for you it is a Canon lens, unlucky for you it's not cheap. The lens is the Canon MPE-65.

There is a secondhand one for sale in the classifieds at the moment.
 
or you could buy a NON Canon Macro lens :shrug:

About £1500 will get you your super macro (MP-E & MT24 flash) or about £300 for a used canon 100mm Macro which is probably the best used buy as its nice to use retains its second hand value well. To get the best out of any macro lens you will also need a flash.
 
I agree it is 1 class one.
