Well i decided to take my camera along when hubby, mother in law and I went for a brief walk along the beach at Widmouth, Cornwall (until my back decided enough was enough :thumbsdown: )

The surf school were out on what must have been one of the coldest October days yet - they must be mad :wacky:

Excellent series, very sharp and well exposed. Looks like he is having fun, must be baltic!!!
 
they're well captured but the white balance looks to be way off on this monitor. Here's what I see as closer to the surf being white.

Amazing what you fail to notice, well done - excellent correction.

Absolutely! It's march/april time you want to watch out for, when the sea has totally cooled down over the winter and hasnt started to warm...
 
Nice shots.

No 1 catches a lovely curve on the surfer's ass and I like the angle of the board and surfer too.

Wave in No5 looks good too.

... and as Gary knows, I like the blue look too.
 
Number 1 and 4 stand out for me in these! I didn't notice the WB, but I think the blue went unnoticed for me cause it emphasised the temperature of the water, and kinda worked with the blue surfboard! The correction did look good too though :)
