Surreal looking tulips

Pottering in the garden and these just looked surreal. Not done much PP - so that's pretty much what they looked like.

Hi patrick, I like that, was out myself only a week ago taking flowers at the mother-in-laws garden. The strong reds in the nearest hasn't even blown out the leaf detail, very nicely exposed me thinks

No I havent, might do though ,I need to shrink them for the web, took mine a couple of weeks ago, was a beautiful sunday afternoon too

Why are they surreal?

Nice colour, yes, and nice exposure.
But is the focus aupposed to only be on that one red middle flower?
If it is then I think you should have included the entire bloom.
Just my 2 penneth worth
