Tails of the Riverbank

Went out today for another go at the water voles. All taken with the 300mm f4 lens. Hope you like.

I like those a lot - especially the 1st one. They would all have been improved by a lower vantage point, but it looks to me as though exposure and focus are fine on all of them.

I'll bet they don't stay still for long.

Thanks for the replies. I was standing for about 15 minutes at a distance of about 3 yards away from this one, as long as I was standing still it just got on with the business of eating.

I got one in Ellesmere, same story! happy enough to sit there munching whilst we watched! Had his fill, jumped in the lake and swam off lol!
