I haven't posted anything on here for a while but the good weather has brought the bugs out so here's a few tapered drone flies for your perusal.

Lovely little creatures, they really seem to like whatever plant that is.
I've been trying to catch one in flight but I've been failing miserably.

Nice series, number 4 is my favourite although his face has a heavy blue cast for some reason. I can't see this in any of the others so no idea why this is...

Great set, #5 is my fav love the gun position flies make. Agree with Tim on blue hue didnt notice it at first but clearly there! Is the PP different on this one or WB setting?

I'm not sure why that one has that blue hue, odd that it's only the face and no other part of the image.
Maybe I messed something up in Lightroom, I'll take a look.
