Testing of DCR-250

I bought the DCR-250 for a while but never got round to use it, I gave it a try today in the garden. It is a lot more difficult to use than I thought and the focus is hard to get. Here are some shots some it.

Great work with it Icy what lens did you put it on?

I find with Raynox I have to use >f16 for full effect well with my style of shooting anyhow.

Nice set and yes it is harder than you think but you have done well. I got another cheapo lens arriving in less than 2 weeks so that should be a blast

I used it on Tamron 90mm.Tried to use a smaller aperture (I like using F13-18) but my ring flash wasn't powerful enough so had to use bigger aperture.

I like number severn best, the wings and the shadow of his back right leg make it for me.

cool series, I really like all of them, ladybird looks a bit bashed about - is that a dent in its back and head? yikes!

Nice wing detail on 7+8, shame about that little bit of wing chopped off but focus looks bang on

Thanks Carl! I am not quite sure it was a dent or not, but it certainly looked very angry when I took the photo of it.

Thanks Susie I am getting use of using the DCR-250, it's not as easy as I thought.
