The Grand Depart 2014

The Tour De France for me has been the best sporting event in my lifetime with stage one coming through my Town and it was a really great day so thanks to every one involved - the week leading up to the race saw quite surreal scenes of teams training on my local roads I managed to see 5 teams Prior to the race, which for me was totally mental driving my car home from work and Alberto Contador comes past with the whole Saxo Team and cars etc
2 hours later at the other end of Town Team Europecar coming down the road - I just could not get my head round all these Superstar riders in my Town while everyday life going on around them
anyway enough twaddle a few pictures (I took Loads) hope you like them as much as I enjoyed getting them

For me the best set we've seen so far.
When you're telling your grandchildren about this you can show them the pictures & they will see just what it was like.
