well here one from today at Tomason Foss. It a great place maybe a bit more water needed
know but here it is little dark in the background.

I like it. The darker areas give the shot atmosphere. If I was being fussy the log might be a little smaller but there's not much you could do about that.

I'm with Tom, it's a decent effort but I'm finding the foreground log a bit over dominant

The tree is pretty much saying "nothing to see here, danger zone, get out", etc. It is also pretty grey and underexposed. This thing may sort of work for stylised portrait shoot (you may already have plans to comp in a model) but certainly not as a standalone image.
