Not a bad composition. The patch of trees lead your eye to the blue area on the right so there is a flow to the picture.
Problem is you have nicely exposed clouds but way under exposed foreground. If you shot is raw there should be enough leeway to boost the foreground and retain cloud detail.
Other problem is a bit too much sharpening which is most obvious in the halos around the birds.
