Some old photos from me, the Tour of Britain cycle race came to Surrey and it was a rare opportunity for me to go out and get some photos of one of my favourite sports. I cycled out to get some shots near the start of the race in Reigate ( I'll need to dig them out at some point) then once they'd passed through I raced across about 10 miles to catch them again. Of course in that time they'd done about 50 miles up and down the North Downs. When the peloton came through someone was missing, Mark Cavendish had had a puncture, then he sneaked through between some cars, and eventually won the stage in Guildford. Unfortunately back then my photo skills were a bit lacking and I only had basic entry level equipment.
