Tried the "Paris black" look on a couple of photos.

I can see why and what you might be aiming for but I think I personally would prefer a degree of desaturation of some areas rather than going for a complete mono with some colour, if that makes sense, but I can see the attraction in these too. Well done :D

Two "Excellent" environmental style captures Rory, liking both of these very much.

Yes I like those, very much ;)

Both very striking images, I think.

Very good and different. How is it done?
In RAW on the colour mixer push everything to the left apart from Red and Orange. Then you have the effect pull back slightly on the others blue, magenta and green etc

Once you have the desired colour go into Effects and add Clarity.

There are a couple of youtube videos...Paris Black look. Takes seconds to process.

As mentioned both are very striking. I like them very much.

I shall certainly look into the "Paris black" look. Thank you for sharing your technique.

excellent, never heard of it before, just had a wee go myself with one of my old pics of my grandson pumpkin picking, ( best i could get with some red/orange in it)

Love these images.
Beautifully shot and final result is stunning.
