Here's another of the same pair I know the back ground is some what naff.

I'm looking for advice where I went wrong and or if I could have done anything better?

Thanks for taking the time to look

Nice shot Davey. It looks a bit tight in the frame perhaps? I'm not sure if it's not quite sharp or the veils are giving that impression?

I don't think there's much wrong with the background they were at a race meet, looks to be a track behind them. It's better with out the blurred background in your first shot

Might have been a good idea have took more of an environmental portrait because they could be at a wedding for all we know. I think you may have missed focus

As you said, you don't shoot people normally and it's not easy. But you've captured two girls that look genuinely happy, and at ease with being shot.

That's no bad thing:)

Thanks for the comments guys (y)

As for the background most of it was borring grass.

Maybe I should have spoken to them and tried a few other poses with the track in the background, but then you can do anything and everything when you have hindsight is on your side.

I happy with them as a first atempt but will try harder next time :D
