Bored out of my bald skull while waiting for a report to run for a client, I thought I would photograph a shiny new 2pence piece.

105mm sigma macro on a 6d, flash barely working due to batteries are pretty much drained. Thanks for popping along to watch me 2p. hahahaha
 
I don't mind throwing my two pence worth into the hat. Loads of fine detail and the focusing is superb it literally jumps off the page.
 
Looking at that shot you have proved it is not a mint coin.

Nice shot Carl I was shooting a shiny 5p the other day.

Did you pop up the photo? I have shiny 10p as well, has two lions on the back, I might try a photo of that, maybe a mix of coins. Good test for reflective subjects too I guess.
 
Oh sorry Carl, I missed replying to this one. That's very impressive. Amazing clarity and lovely light. As mentioned, it really pops!
