Type of Bird?

This is a 100% Crop using a Canon 550d with a 55-250mm lens. Using it at 250mm. F5.6 ISO 100
It was taken through my bedroom window and it was walking around the end of the driveway.
Im pretty new to photography, so any advice is more than welcome.

oooh k interesting. I live in a part of glasgow where im surrounded by thousands of trees, so there is a heck of alot of wildlife flying around.

Also what are those birds that look like they are bouncing when they are flying? Its like they glide for a second, then flap up then glide for a second, and it looks like they are loosing altitude when doing that. They are awfully tiny and to quick for me to capture(YET).
