This water reservoir near Leyland, Lancashire, has unfortunately been given permission to be demolished to make way for a housing development which is a crying shame! The reservoir is open for the public to take a look around before the inevitable happens.

Very nice set of this sadly doomed location. Good you have recorded it before it bites the dust!

A place like that is begging to have photos taken from ground level. You could have got some absolutely awesome reflection shots there.

Would make an awesome bat cave to live in. Sod the housing development!

Interesting subject, and nice set, i'm quite surprised it's open to the public though due to health and safety regulations, has it been decommissioned ? i used to work in these resealing them, normally you would have to have a confined spaces certificate to work in one, well at least i did, i know it's not confined, but it's just down to the normal H&S stuff.
