A good concept, but I'd say they're a little soft around the edges. And they could all use a bit more light too. #1 is definitely the clearest out of the three.

its only soft round the edges because i focused on the love heart sweet and the top/bottem of the lips which i thought was effective.

Well, in my opinion, it could have used a slightly tighter aperture because the DoF is just a little too shallow for me in this instance.
