VeeFest 2014 Mondello Park

A few pictures from the Dunlop Formula Vee Festival held at Mondello Park last weekend in aid of the Laura Lynn Charity. A great event all in all, with some fantastic races from a variety of classes, although the Formula Vee final itself never really got going and finished with the race red flagged while the cars were in the pit lane.

You cant beat a Escort sideways so it has to be number 2 for me. I like the idea of your marmite, think it would really work well if you nail the focus on the rear of the car rather than the number.

Thanks Dex - I see what you mean about the focus in 5 and I've seen shots as you describe that look really good. I'll give it a go next time!

Thanks for your comments on the 2 Flickr shots, took a serious soaking to get that shot of Niall Murray, but it turned out as I'd hoped so definitely worth it.

There's a nice feeling of movement in your shots Brian, 2,3 & 5 are a good example of this, I agree with Dex that the Niall Murray shot is spot on.
