Veterans football

A lot of my friends play for the Standon & Puckeridge Vets (also known as the Bellytubbies) on a Sunday morning and I decided to go down to watch them for the first half this morning. Premier League it certainly aint!

Here are a few photos from the match, the first is my mate Steve, better known as Red October as he is always the sub and judging by the state of him this morning after a heavy night I can see why is usually on the bench.

Great stuff. Only thing I've got to say is make sure you keep the lines straight, as some of them seem to be sloping down.

The few where there is no ball in the frame don't work quite so well in my eyes. I know the ball can't be far away but you are left wondering where it is
