Victoria - taken by the River Foss, York. The shallow depth of field (f/2.8) has made the weeping willow backdrop indistinguishable.

The background, weeping willow, is very bright which is very distracting. Also, the highlight on the forehead, draws the eye.

Thanks for your feedback, more of a snapshot than a portrait but just trying out the new lens at f/2.8 and trying to capture a bright summer look. I think the two colours work well.

Point well taken about the highlights, she could do with a little foundation to tone it down but it was a real-world late in the day and quite warm. I will have another attempt in the near future.
