Vintage aircraft (flying legends again)

Hi all,

I too visited flying legends last weekend and had a great day.

As well as the fantastic aircraft I really enjoyed seeing the display of Rolls Royce engines without any cowling, hence starting with this:

Nice stuff. I don't think a little more prop blur would go amiss for the flying shots.

Like the static engine pair, something I overlooked!!

Superb set Paul - I particularly like the first shot with the flaming exhausts!
You can just see the looks of wonder through the heat haze, love it.

Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback.

I agree a bit more prop blur would have been good, a smaller aperture is the lesson learned here I think!

The engines are great - the power and noise you do not appreciate when they have a cowling over the top!

My local air show tomorrow with my little lad - Farnborough.
