This next shot, I'm not 100% happy with, I tried a (relatively) narrow DOF to keep the emphasis on mum, I think I should of hedged my bets and shot at a wider DOF also?

Yep, papa's too much in focus I'd say
 
I really like the 3rd shot for some reason. Think it is the nice rich colours and the swans pose. All good shots though (y) :)
 
The first one for me - an absolute cracker! I'm also going to buck the trend and admit to liking the last one. :)
