Wakeley Northamptonshire.

Lovely warm light to the buildings there, shame the sky is a tad dull.

The good sky was to the left of me and it was a tussle of the two. I have only just found this place so a return visit is planned.

I went back this morning for a scout around and a closer look has exposed some serious cracks in these structures, in fact, being close to them was a little un-nerving! Kevin mcloud says (Grand designs) "if you can put your hand in it..." I didn't try but I rekon I could have got my arm in there.

I rather liked the softly lit image, however I amreally liking the last one with the cracks!!

This place looks great - where is it exactly?

Hello Dean, if you know where Harringworth viaduct is then Wakerley (I spelt it wrong in the title) is adjacent to it. Look for Main street Wakerley, I parked right on the bend, there is enough room for a small car, and you can enter the field over the style as it is a marked walking area. You can clearly see the iron works and the bend I parked on.
