1) Hangar 11 Collection P-51D Mustang 'Tall-In-The-Saddle' at North Weald.

2) Fighter Collection's FG-1D Corsair at Shuttleworth Fly Navy

3) Plane Sailing PBY-5A Catalina displaying at Shuttleworth

4) BBMF Avro Lancaster at Southend Airport. I left the shutter speed too fast on this shot, but it's not often I get to see it on the ground these days.

5) Aero Legends' DC-3 Dakota landing at North Weald in August

6) Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb at IWM Duxford in September

7) The Suffolk Spitfire, RW382 in USAAF markings

8) Flt Lt Antony Parkinson MBE at the end of a long day flying passengers in a two-seat Spitfire

What a superb set, I never thought I would say this when there are historic aircraft so well photographed but the pilot is my favourite, what a great capture.

I never realised there was a 2-seat Hurricane.
The Cat reminded me of when they were advertising shared ownership of it at £25k a pop.

Yes it is, it's The Fighter Collection's Goodyear FG-1D. I was going to add captions last night and forgot to, I'll do that now.

I never realised there was a 2-seat Hurricane.

It's a fairly recent thing - it was formerly owned by Hangar 11 at North Weald but was put up for sale and ended up being converted by the same company that restored it. It was the first time I'd seen it since it was with Hangar 11 and I used to help push it in/out of the hangar.
