I was working on a can images and played with the water a little.
Maybe there are much better and more precise ways to trigger but essentially I had to ditch 5fps 5Ds and fire R6 at max fps to really start getting those splashes captured on every throw. So essentially a few wasted frames, then 1-2 good ones... godox lights seemed to mostly keep up; best results were at 1/16 or lower power with modelling lights OFF
I also made my whole setup inside a large plastic storage box which happily contained some 95% of water with only just a few drops on diffusers and background.
Sadly I also found my usual 100 and 135mm a no go due to water going out of focus very easily even at f/16. 50mm seems to have do then trick.
