Evening all!

I'm into fishing and photography. There's been loads of times when being in the water I wish I had my camera. I do a lot of wading and only slipped/dunked once or twice. I'm after a bag I can put my camera in so to use it more when I'm still. Easy access is a good option if possible.

Thanks in advance.

A big Ziplok bag should be waterproof enough for a quick dunking. I've also seen proper waterproof bags in outdoor/camping shops but they'll be more expensive.

An even less cheap alternative would be a waterproof camera of some sort. Several compact options available as well as the Nikon 1 AW.

Been looking at one of the over board bags. Only £32 but I'd like a recommend from those tried and tested.

I was considering a waterproof shoulder bag for a specific trip, but chickened out in the end. The two main contenders were these;

and

In the end I used a normal backpack and a few waterproof roll top bags from a camping shop
They were a different make to these, but you can even colour code a bag for each lens

The bag is just as a precaution incase I fall in when fishing. If the bag is in for a sure soak I might look at the dryzone.

Compared to the cost of you gear the cost of a bag is nothing. Something by Ewan marine will not only protect your camera but allow you to use it when it's contained within. A little more then a ziplock, but nothing to the cost of your gear
