Critique Wedding Ring...

The picture is possible a bit cliche but it was my 1st attempt at this kinda thing. I used the LED flash from a Samsung Galaxy S3 as the light source.

It's my wedding rind on a specific page that means something to my wife.

Liking the shaping of the shadow of the ring

I like it, something i have yet to attempt but will have a go. Good use of the phone light too, maybe would look a tad better with your wife's diamond ring as there is some nice blown out highlights where the flash has hit your ring, but if it was hitting a rock, would give a bit more bling-to-it

ah of course, it might mess up the shadow (which I really do like) would be good if you gave it a go though, to see if it works!

Matt it doesn't matter if it's been done many times before, most shots have. The main thing is it works and you are happy with the personal touch.
