Wensleydale - Which one?

I haven't spent much time in this part of the forum this year but want to try and change that and get back to some landscapes.

We've just spent a few days away near Bedale. I found this field on the back road from Hawes to Leyburn. Two shots taken but I can't decide which works better - landscape or portrait format? Any feedback would be appreciated

The Landscape orientation for me Peter. The barn feels a little lost in frame in the portrait crop, and I think the first shot certainly benefits from being shot a touch closer in, as details like the heather on the tops, and the trees and barn add a lot more interest to the scene, which is lost in the portrait version.
 
The 1st one for me as the hut in the second is a little lost' agreed on the crop just to lose a little of the sky both are nice tho.
 
Thanks for the further comments. Yes I certainly agree the suggestion made having given the final image (#4) the winning edge over the others.
