Where to buy new 5d MkI?

Hi,

DOes anybody know where i can buy a Brand New Canon 5d MkI?

Dont want to spend the rest on the MkII and dont really want a second hand MkI

what are you worried about with secondhand?

bodies are durable and most people are careful, a fair few shops give warranties and live off their reputations for good quality secondhand kit

Just dont want to spend £700-£900 on a second hand body for it to go kaput in a few weeks

Don't know of any left I'm afraid. People like MPB offer 6 months warranty on used.

I've never been caught out with used kit and have bought 3 camera bodies and 4 lenses used over the last few years.

I think most reputable shops will give you 6 months warranty to cover that possibility but don't be afraid of 2nd hand

I just sold my year-old 5D on eBay - just over 1,000 shutter clicks, plenty of life left in it

(Yes I did try putting it on the classifieds, but no one was interested :razz: )

Got mine second hand too. Feels like new and works awesomely
I think it will be very difficult finding brand new 5D these days.
