Wild Horse's

Started out as a sheep ranch around the turn of the 20th century. Mauer Ranch at Clarno. Oregon. Donald died a good number of years ago and maybe eight or ten years back his wife, Mary, followed. Niece took over running the ranch but sold a big chunk of it several years ago. I heard she kept that part with the horse's. It bordered on the west side by the John Day River. I love horse's, wish I still had one but can't get on them anymore. So late last year I went to the river fishing with a local and there were all these horse's across the river. Local told me they were bringing in wild horse's, don't know why. About 500 of them over there now, quite a site if you love horse's. Just below that bank by the horse's is the river.
