I'm unsure about this shot, one half of me thinks it's a tad too bright, the other half tells me it's fine, so I'll leave it to you lads & lasses to decide

I would say 1/2 a stop over-exposed, the brightness in the head feather detail can be brought back.

As above Also no catchlight in the eye which always makes all the difference?

Agree that the LHS is a tad over exposed. Busy background,those little buggers are so uncooperative!

This is my attempt to correct the shot, I've dropped the exposure a smidgen and brought a tad more detail out in the eye, I did try a bit more on the eyebut thought it looked over done, please remeber I only know basics of photoshop that I use.
