From my weekend away in Windsor, this is a panorama made from four portrait shots, hand held and merged together in CS4.

Not sure if I prefer the color or the b&w, so I will give you both.

the colour suits me and its just as i would have taken and i think turned out the same
i like pano's and dont look so close for differences in exposure etc

Thank you. I had an issue where the sky brightened up to the left of the shot which looked very odd, think I brought it back enough not to notice.

did you use manual settings for the shots?
 
No, these were shot in aperture priority with a little bit of -ve exposure compensation.

I was well and truly in tourist mode so was just snapping really.

use manual for pano's then the exposure will be consistent all through...meter on the brightest parts...i think this works better
