Yet another from Newcastle

There have been a few newcastle shots up lately so not wanting to miss out. It's the first time I've employed 'proper' panorama technique. This was shot using a 50mm lens orientated in portrait. I think it was 5 shots all together. I actually shot it a little while ago and stitched it recently but Aperture was having a fit about editing it until I did an update the other day so here it is. Interested to see what people think of the weird flare effect on the river? Distracting or interesting? No idea what caused it.

That's a lovely Panorama imo, something you'd probably expect to see on an advertising campaign etc.

This is great, well stitched together also, but what lifts this for me, is you have shot at exactly the right time, so you still have sky detail, which is very important in shots like this.
