If it wasn't for the tree behind it, making a bit of a mess with its antlers, I'd have loved it - instead, I just like it
The distance between the deer and the tree is too short to get the deer popping out of the image with a nice blurred background, plus you shot at F10, where F4.0,F5.6 would have been fine and bokeh'd it out and popped out the deer, plus you could have shot at ISO100 instead of ISO400, reducing noise and probably got the shutterspeed up quite considerably (320,400 or even higher) to get the exposure the same, which is perfect by the way (so is white balance).
Keep an eyeball on the background Wish I could spot deer the only deer I spot is when the missus goes shopping and I go "oh dear"
