A slightly different take on a bird shot. Thought I'd make the owl see what it's like to be the mouse for a change

Young Snowy Owl at the International Bird of Prey Centre in Newent, Gloucestershire. The staff were allowing them to be handled to get them used to human contact.

No1 is super. Although No2 captures a great stare - I don't find it as pleasing. I suspect it's your hand so it's a miracle you got any picture, but with reaching down & in from the corner it some how distracts me. Both are impressive images, the first captivating, the second just not so for me ? Hard to say exactly why, only feel it's the hand.
