Hi all, Can you tell me which of these 2 images ( if any! ) works best

#1 for me the colour works well, I think in mono it looks bland - and it isn't a bland image

Yup, definately agree with the colour version.
Its a rather large object that fills the frame, and the detail in the object itself is a little 'nothingy' when viewed in b&w.

The colour version really pops the object against the blues sky and the shadowss and highlights just stand out a whole lot more.

Good shot - Another vote for the colour version.
Just a thought - try taking down the brightness and turning up the contrast in the B&W version.
